Stay:

We stayed in one of their beautiful Lagoon Terrace rooms. Elegantly designed and extremely spacious, our room was absolutely amazing.

The exterior looks like a villa with a few touches of Portuguese architecture.

As you enter, on the left is a massive bathroom with a cosy bathtub followed by a large comfortable bed and the main part, a balcony overlooking the breath-taking lagoons. The room is well equipped with all modern amenities too.

Dining at The Leela Goa:

One of our favourite parts about our staycation at The Leela Goa was the food.

With so many amazing dining experiences and speciality restaurants, you will be spoilt for choice here.

The restaurant:

Offering the longest buffet spread in Goa, the restaurant is a culinary gem. With so many options to choose from, from Indian to Asian to Italian, you will feel full for hours after a hearty breakfast or a meal here.

It has a beautiful Alfresco section facing the pool and beach along with a classy indoor section. The food spread is absolutely amazing here.

Jamavar:

The pinnacle of Indian dining, a meal at Jamavar will transport you to a royal era.

We absolutely loved indulging in their Maharaja Thali which had some extraordinary dishes from the palatial kitchens of northern India. This is one of the best thali’s we’ve ever had and we highly recommend it.

Susegado:

One of the most stunning restaurants we’ve visited, Susegado is perfect for a date night with your partner.

Right on Mobor beach, with triangular cabanas, a tiki-style bar and romantic decor, this is an absolute must-visit, especially if you love seafood.

Listen to the waves and light up your mood under the starlit clear skies as you sip on your chilled beer and dig into your delicious meal prepared by the most talented chefs.

Riverside :

Spend a romantic evening by the gorgeous Sal river, under soft lights and a candlelit table with the most delightful Italian meal at Riverside.

Chef Vetri Selvan really works his magic on the wood-fired oven pizzas, handmade pasta, hearty mains and melt in your mouth desserts, all made from the best quality ingredients.

They also have a lovely private dining area here which can be set up and decorated for you to surprise your loved one with. This is one of the best Italian meals we’ve ever had.

Activities/Experiences at The Leela Goa :

During your stay at The Leela Goa, you can indulge in a lot of memorable experiences and fun activities throughout the day for both kids and adults.

Take a dip in their swimming pool that has a really fun cave which you can swim through or grab a drink at their pool bar and relax, surrounded by tall coconut trees and lush greenery.

In the evenings, walk to Mobor beach and experience the most incredible sunsets. The beach is extremely safe and clean being studded with soft white sands and crystal-clear waters. It’s scarcely populated so you can spend quality time with family or friends here.

There are beach chairs and cosy cabanas to relax in too or you can take a dip in the sea. They also have an array of water sports if you’re feeling adventurous.

There are always fun activities going on at the property like basket making or origami or nature walks to keep you busy through the day. The Yali lounge also has indoor games and an in-house DJ every evening. You can also play tennis or cricket or badminton or archery in their outdoor sports arena.

The best way to spend time at the Leela Goa however is to just walk or cycle through the property, admiring the rich flora and fauna and taking in the breath-taking views around you.

Overall, we had the most marvellous experience at this extraordinary property that’s the pinnacle of luxury.
