Experience luxurious flying with British Airways World Traveller Plus, Premium Economy seats.
An ultra-comfortable seat in World Traveller Plus along with an impeccable service, delicious gourmet dining, high-quality upholstery, exciting entertainment and a smooth check-in process made my experience with British Airways Boeing 787-9 flight, a memorable one.

British Airways Boeing 787-9.
This is British Airways centenary year, globally wherein the airline has taken various initiatives – one of them being significant investments in upgrading their aircrafts, bigger lounges, extra cabins and new destinations.
Travelling on board with British Airways World Traveller Plus was a great experience. This premium economy cabin makes for an uber comfortable, relaxing long haul journey almost at par with Business/First class.
In fact, the upcoming upgrade in World Traveller Plus will include an upgrade in the menu, allowing customers with a third meal choice along with an impressive amenity kit, adding comfort and a touch of luxury to your experience.

Check-In and Baggage:
On entering the Mumbai Chattrapati Shivaji International Airport, the British Airways Check-In counters are right in front of you. I had already done a web check-in on their website a day prior and I was courteously escorted to the check-in counter. Within 15 minutes, my bags were ready to go, and I had my boarding pass scanned and ready.

I love the fact that as a World Traveller Plus passenger, you can carry up to two checked in bags, one cabin and one laptop bag, perfect for a long vacation.

Boarding and Seats:
A major benefit of World Traveller Plus is the abundant legroom space on extremely comfortable seats in the cabin, offering more privacy than economy.
After a timely and effortless boarding, with the help of friendly staff, I was directed to my window seat in the premium economy cabin. The seat came with a greater recline, lumbar support, soft head rest and wide footrest with ample room to stretch out.

The snug seat comes with an advanced flat TV touch screen, a useful amenity kit, soft quilt and cushions as well as noise cancelling headphones.
I had a good night’s sleep and barely noticed as the hours flew by. There was enough space to curl up and get the much-needed rest.

You’d usually expect an amenity kit only in Business/First Class but the upgraded British Airways World Traveller Plus will come with its own stylish amenity kit consisting of a dental set, woollen socks, eye mask, lip balm, pen and earplugs, basically all you need.
The seats, service, in flight entertainment, leg space, food and more made for a delightful flight experience.
Dining & Entertainment:
Pamper your taste buds with the delicious handcrafted food served on board British Airways World Traveller Plus. You can choose two scrumptious hot meals with drinks of your choice.
There is a wide variety of cuisines and dietary preferences to choose from on the in-flight menu.
Meals can be customized on prior request and I loved the vegetarian along with vegan options on board too.

The meals were well balanced, made with high-quality ingredients, exquisitely presented and served with fine cutlery.

Impeccable Service onboard British Airways World Traveller Plus.
You can pair your meal with one of the many cocktails, mocktails, soft drinks or alcoholic drink options on the menu. Their range of international liqueurs and beverages along with British tea was quite impressive.

After a hearty meal, catch a nap or watch your favourite movie/show in their modern touch-screen in-flight screen that is available with noise-cancelling headphones. The wide range of the latest entertainment was an added element to my smooth flight experience with British Airways.

Landing at Heathrow Terminal 5:
Before I knew it, we were landing into Heathrow, welcomed by the eye-catching aerial views of this electrifying capital.

A smooth and safe landing was followed by an efficient baggage claim at Terminal 5 after which I hopped onto a cab, all ready to explore the city.

Overall, I had a wonderful experience on board with British Airways World Traveller Plus.
Can’t wait to fly again with British Airways to one of the 200 destinations they serve, across continents.

Thank you so much Devanshi. You should definitely fly with British Airways World Traveller Plus soon!
Love BA! I flew on their economy last year but this looks so much better! Well written!
Yes British Airways economy is one of the best! Thanks for reading!
I think premium economy is a good option for long haul flights where you can’t really afford the business class but economy gets too cramped. This is a good in between! Will go soon.
Yes agreed. The British Airways Premium Economy is really good, especially with the service, leg space and hot meals.
