“Stuff your eyes with wonder, live as if you’d drop dead in ten seconds. See the world. It’s more fantastic than any dream made or paid for in factories.” – Ray Bradbury.

W Hotels comes with its trademark charm, luxury and fun concept to the beautiful shores of Goa. Located atop Vagator beach, surrounded by clear waters, cool winds and dramatic red cliffs, W Goa is the perfect idea of a tropical, luxurious gateway.

My stay at W Goa left me nothing short of speechless. Comfortable rooms which are well spaced, a marvelous rock pool, peppy music playing around the property and of course delicious food sums up my beautiful experience at one of the best resorts there are in Goa.

The Stay –

As you enter, you’re charmed by the colorful lobby, which is unlike any other. A blend of pretty lamps, white shades, comfortable sofas, a happening bar called WOOBAR where you can sip a cocktail or just relax with a book with your feet propped up, adds to the charm of the property.

I stayed at one of their Wonderful rooms. With a super soft king sized bed, a huge balcony overlooking the lush greenery surrounding the property, a mini bar, a spacious bathroom with a huge bathtub, large cabinets, a soft couch and well lit lamps, you really won’t feel like leaving once you’re here. The epitome of a luxury stay, with its classy and chic architecture, W Goa has a wide variety of staying options for everyone.

The property –

Surrounded by exotic green trees, a sparkling beach, well spaced villas, grand chalets and scenic panoramas you really won’t feel like getting out of W Goa once you’re in here. It’s an absolute paradise!

Sit in your buggy and explore the huge property by yourself or just take a walk around. As you get nearer to the beach, get ready to be enchanted by the beautiful Rock Pool! Located atop a cliff with the sun setting above, the clean waves crashing against the rocks, a chic bar and trendy music playing in the background, take a dip in the dreamy rock pool and feel utterly relaxed as you sip your favorite cocktail by the sea.

Relax by one of the bohemian couches by the sea and watch the sun set over the horizon as your heart pumps to the best of the music. One of the hottest party destinations in Goa, the rock pool will make you fall in love with it at first sight.

W Goa also has a Spa by Clarins which will soften your senses and make you feel heavenly with their vitamin pool, tempting massages and other Ayurvedic treatments. A world away from the rest, make the most of your vacation by getting refreshed at the spa.

Dining –

Enchant your taste buds with the delightfully flavored food at The Kitchen Table, an all-day, multi cuisine restaurant that serves popular local classics and charming twists of international favorites.

Highly recommended – Egg ceaser salad, paneer kathi roll, kurkure dahi ke kebab and the dessert platter consisting of Cremé Brûlée, Orange Cheesecake, Strawberry Macaroon and a salted brownie which is a treat for that sweet tooth.

For a complete fine dining experience that will transport you to the kitchens of the Orient, Spice Traders is a must visit. Chef Tanveer Kwatra weaves his magic through a delicious selection of Pan Asian dishes.

Spice Traders, W Goa.

I started off with the ‘Hanoi Hannah’ which is a crunchy asparagus and corn sushi that will leave you craving for more. Pair this up with their rose petal infused vodka and take your senses on a culinary journey of beautiful flavors.

Other must haves – Water chestnuts in a sweet and sour Thai sauce, Son in law eggs and Wantons stuffed with goat cheese.

The Japanese fried rice cooked to perfection makes for a perfectly spiced meal when paired with stir fried asparagus and water chestnut in a cashew nut and sun dried Chinese olive sauce.

Do not miss the flavored crème brûlée with delightful flavors like plain, apple, coffee and mango.

Surrounded by the prettiest oriental lamps, eye catching upholstery, a polite staff and amazing food, Spice Traders is a must visit for an beautiful dining experience.

Wake up after a good nights sleep and have a hearty breakfast at The Kitchen table. With a wide buffet spread of freshly baked bread, every kind of cheese you can think of, a huge variety of Indian breakfast delicacies, eggs, pancakes, waffles, ice cream and more, this will make for the perfect start to a new day ahead.
