I was very happy with everything I had. The food was fresh, heartwarming and beautiful.
I had their weekend special breakfast which is a must try.
Here’s what I had –
1) Belgian Hot Chocolate –
One of the best hot chocolate’s I’ve had in Bombay till now, the hot chocolate here was warm, dark and had the perfect consistency. The best part was that it was poured over warm marshmallows which were out of this world. Now marshmallows and hot chocolate I feel are a perfect combination.
2) The Wahwah Brekkie-
A different and beautiful concept of a hearty breakfast in a glass, the wahwah brekkie didn’t fail to impress. They have both vegetarian and non vegetarian versions of this.
I had the Vegetarian one. Layers of Oats, spicy tomato mustard, blanched spinach, scrambled eggs with cheese and deliciously cooked mushrooms with a white gravy topped with a cheese straw.
I loved each and every layer. The Tomato
mustard tasted very authentic. Also, it looked beautiful and boy it was fill
ing
.
3) Date shake-
Now we had their famous Date shake. Thick and creamy with a beautiful colour, the dates and milk blended together to form a lovely and healthy milkshake. I loved the slight caramel flavour it
hao
4) Arepa-
Now Arepa is a popular Venezuelan Street food. This is the first time I’ve had it in India. Two large thick Maize rotis stuffed with grated cottage cheese sautéed with onions and green chillies served with a lovely green tomato salsa (salsa verde). I found this dish to be a bit dry. But the salsa on it’s own was amazing. It was well presented with rocked leaves on t
he side.
5) New Orleans Desi-
Now this is what I call a plate full of a delicious breakfast. Fried egg, Cheddar cheese, grilled mushrooms with a white gravy and Buttermilk biscuits.
These Buttermilk biscuits are very authentic. Crisp, warm and delicious they’ll make your day. The eggs were well cooked and the Mushrooms were
delicious.
6) Strawberry and white chocolate milkshake.
So much goodness in one smoothie. Fresh strawberries, strawberry crush and thick white chocolate blended together to form a Scrumptious milkshak
7) Chilled Belgian chocolate –
The chilled chocolate was a smooth Belgian Chocolate mousse inside a little glass served with a crisp orange biscuit and fresh fruits.
This is by far, the best mousse I’ve ever had.
The dark Belgian Chocolate just effortlessly melts into your mouth. And that lovely orange biscuit coupled with the soft chocolate leaves your tastebuds craving for more.
