One of the highlights of my Jaipur Trip was Chokhi Dhani.
You’re overwhelmed by it’s beautiful ambiance just as you enter.
Colourful walls, traditionally dressed people, low lights, village cots, the smell of freshly cooked food. What an experience!

The other activities like Elephant rides, performances, the little lake, puppet shows all made the experience all the more special.

Traditional Rajasthani Thali at Chokhi Dhani, Jaipur, Rajasthan.

One of the best food experiences of my life was at chokhi Dhani. I’ve not had such good food in years.

The Traditional thali consisted of Bajra Roti, Makke ki roti, Phulkas, Sangri pickle, hot garlic chilly chutney, Corriander chutney, Rajasthani Kadhi, Chaana Chaat, Daal baati, Churma, Kachori, Bajra Khichada, Jalebi’s and Chaas.  Phew!

As you sit down at night, gazing at the stars, being served so lovingly you’re amazed at the sheer variety of food. Not only that, each and everything out did the other.
A must visit for everyone. The food was well cooked with the right amount of spices and the perfect amount of ghee.

The Bajra Khichda topped with ghee and sugar along with the freshly fried Jalebi’s is a must try.
